Most of the models for Detroit Nude are amateur or even first time models. Out of the 47 models we have shot so far, we have only really worked with 3-4 professional, traveling models. Agnes, 23 from Lithuania, was obviously one of them.
She breezed into Dead Man’s Studio in the Russell Industrial Complex, ready to go. She photographs tall, but she was about 5’6 and 90 lbs. She was a trooper. At one point, standing, barefoot, in about 2 feet of pigeon droppings, bones and broken glass. We were mortified and told her to be careful. To which she responded, sounding like Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle, “ Don’t worry, it’s no problem”.
In less than two hours, we crawled all over the Russell shooting and got some great images.
