ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS! Your chance to be published.

Good morning! Just wanted to give you all more details about this opportunity to be published. My book, Detroit Nude, will be launching soon. I have been shooting female nudes in public spaces in the city of Detroit. To date, I have shot 47 models on over 140 shoots. I want to offer some other photographers a chance to be published.

Publishing in the 21^st century is usually digital or print on demand. These both have upsides and downsides. Digital is cool, but it is so fleeting. Just post something on the web and call it “published”.

Print on demand is cool, but then the book costs 95$ and no one ever sees it. I’m old school. I like a physical book in my hands. This will be a 9×13, 1000 copy, hardcover book with dust jacket. There is only room for 3-4 guest photographers in the book.

All images MUST be shot in Detroit (not a suburb or surrounding area)

Images must be nude or implied

All models must be over 18

No props-think fine art, not gimmicks

All image choices are solely at the discretion of Detroit Nude

Only female models for this project

Full, legal names of both photographer and model must be supplied

By submitting images, you consent to them being used for any promotional purpose

The publishers of Detroit Nude are not responsible for you getting arrested, robbed or otherwise bad things happening. Be smart and safe!

We are not looking for any specific “type” of model, most of the women in the book are first time models, so just make cool images.

There will be more info to come, but as we only have room for a few photographers, this will be super competitive, so shoot your best work!
